1986: Evert van benthem wint zijn tweede elstedentocht maar de meeste aandacht gaat uit naar tourrijder w.a.van buren oftewel kroon willem Alexander.
1997: al vlak na oud en nieuw is het op 4 januari raak en henk angenent wind de tocht der tochten
