Season 01, Episode 13 – “Bayou Bronco”
Charles and Trey get a call from a man deep in the Bayou looking to unload his 1971 Ford Bronco. The duo hope to revamp this pony in time for a classic car auction a few weeks away. Since Broncos aren’t the typical car featured at a classic car auction, Charles wants to capture buyers’ attention by transforming it into a classic California off-roading vehicle, but Trey fears that Charles’ eccentric vision might alienate bidders. The team faces an impractical hood scoop, a challenging paint job, four decades of wear and tear, and the on-going fear that collectors just won’t see the value in a car most iconic for a chase down the 405.

Season 01, Episode 14 – “Mystery Trike”
Charles and Trey get a lead on a possible Ed Roth Trike, a three-wheeled monster that is motorcycle in the front and car in the back. While Trey is hesitant about the authenticity of purchase due to lack of documentation, Charles trusts his gut and takes a risk–he buys the Trike for a hefty amount of money. While Charles faces the challenge of authenticating this vehicle, the team gets to work transforming the frame and fiber-glass body into the rolling work of art Ed Roth himself would be proud of.
