Il capitano della sezione criminale, Kader Cherif (Abdelhafid Metalsi), è un uomo appassionato del suo lavoro e fin da bambino ha desiderato essere un poliziotto, proprio come i protagonisti delle sue serie tv preferite, Colombo, Kojak, Starsky & Hutch. La sua nuova partner, detectiveAdeline Briard (Carole Bianic), è la nuova e affascinante collega che ha fatto della serietà e del rispetto delle regole la propria missione. Nonostante le diffidenze iniziali, i due scopriranno che insieme funzionano alla grande sul campo e che, nonostante i metodi diversi e spesso contrastanti, hanno più cose in comune di quanto credano. Con un carattere esuberante e con metodi originali, spesso mutuati proprio dai suoi eroi televisivi, Cherif si divide tra la vita alla centrale e il suo ruolo di padre separato con una figlia adolescente, Sarah (Mélèze Bouzid). Con un approccio al lavoro all’apparenza senza logica e un po’ da seduttore, Cherif sa sempre come trattare i colleghi e i criminali. Cosa succederà, ora che ha una nuova partner in centrale, pronta a tenergli testa?
