In een Peruaans dorpje aan zee verwachten Mariela en Miguel hun eerste kind. Als de kunstenaar Santiago in het dorp komt wonen wordt Miguel heimelijk verliefd op hem. De openlijk homoseksuele Santiago wordt door de dorpsbewoners niet geaccepteerd, wat de liefde van Miguel nog ingewikkelder maakt. Na een tragisch ongeluk moet Miguel kiezen tussen zijn stormachtige liefde voor Santiago of het keurslijf van zijn traditionele, maar vredige huwelijk.

In a Peruvian town by the sea and Miguel Mariela expect their first child. If the artist is living in the village of Santiago Miguel is secretly in love with him.
