I bought a high quality Sony U-Matic player in excellent condition from a TV station (around the time they were phasing out analog and going digital) to play some NTSC U-Matic tapes of 3 Cranes videos I had.

Shining Road was from a Hughes Directv DSS system to high quality S-VHS tape, Panasonic S-VHS VCR, later capped with a Matrox Rainbow Runner card. I think I used a Matrox G400-TV for the U-Matic videos.

The Cranes official Everywhere video on Youtube is really bad. Yes the U-Matic looked like that too, but I applied the appropriate color correction, and fixed the brightness and contrast of the video.
