Summary:

Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: “$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it. He drives to a cabin in a remote mountain town where he meets Josef, his cinematic subject for the day. Josef is sincere and the project seems heartfelt, so Aaron begins to film. But as the day goes on, it becomes clear that Josef is not who he says, and his intentions are not at all pure.

Aaron is een optimistische filmmaker die besluit om voor Josef te gaan werken
na het beantwoorden van zijn advertentie op Craigslist. Het enige wat Aaron
hoeft te doen is Josef de hele dag filmen en discreet om te gaan met het hele
plan. Josef vertelt Aaron dat hij een serie video's maakt voor zijn ongeboren
zoon, omdat hij lijdt aan een terminale ziekte en nooit in staat zal zijn om
hem te zien opgroeien. Gaandeweg begint Aaron echter steeds meer te twijfelen
aan de dingen die Josef doet en zegt. Zijn het grappen of echte tekenen van
gevaar en mentale instabiliteit?
