David Benoit (born August 18, 1953) is an American jazz fusion/smooth jazz pianist, composer and producer from Los Angeles, California. He has been nominated for five Grammy Awards. In addition to his current smooth jazz career, Benoit is also music director for the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and the Asia America Youth Orchestra.
