David Guetta born on 7 November 1967 in Paris is a French DJ. He is of Jewish Moroccan descent. In 2005, his single "The World Is Mine", which contains a sample of Simple Minds "Someone Somewhere In Summertime",topped European dance charts. Vocals for his songs have been performed by a variety of notable artists including Chris Willis, Cozi Costi, Kelly Rowland, Akon, Fergie and will.i.am.
In 2009, Guetta produced the Black Eyed Peas song "I Gotta Feeling" for their album The E.N.D. A remix of the song is also included on his most recent album One Love. He also made 2 remixes of another single from the album, "Boom Boom Pow", as "Boom Boom Guetta" and "Boom Boom Wow".
In 2008, he was elected as World DJ No. 5 and best house DJ by the British DJ magazine.
"Gettin' Over" is a song recorded by French disc jockey, David Guetta. It features guest vocals by American R&B vocalist, Chris Willis and was released digitally on August 4, 2009 worldwide.The vocals in the song were praised by EW music-mix stating "Willis has a pleasant rasp to his voice, and he guts this one out like the lives of millions of glowsticks hang in the balance.".
The single's official remix titled "Gettin' Over You" was released on April 12, 2010. The remix features vocals by Chris Willis, Fergie and LMFAO . It has so far reached number 50 in U.S., number 6 in Australia and number 1 in the United Kingdom (Guetta's third UK number one single). The single dropped to 4th place in the UK singles charts on the 13th June.

The music video began production on April 20, 2010 with Rich Lee who has in the past filmed videos for the Black Eyed Peas. The music video premiered on Tuesday, May 18, 2010.It features Guetta, Ferguson, Willis and LMFAO all producing the song in a recording studio. The singers are all interrupted when a huge crowd of fans enters the studio to party. The singers are then forced to escape to the streets, where the 'party' continues.
