During the long hot summer of '76
a unique voice was heard over the
airwaves of Europe: the highly pitched
voice of Demis Roussos. The success
he reached in the mid 70's was summed up by
the title of his major hit EP - "The Roussos Phenomenon".
When seen on T.V. he was a singer unlike any other,
dressed in colourful robes, hiding his
considerable girth, Demis Roussos was
literally a giant performer.
