TRAMA:
Ruth partorisce due gemelli e affida il suo cane Charlie al fratello Dax, musicista squattrinato che abita in uno stabile in cui i cani non sono ammessi. Tara è una cameriera che non sa che direzione imprimere alla sua vita, e poiché è innamorata del bel veterinario Michael non si accorge delle attenzioni del tenero Garrett. Elizabeth è la conduttrice di un talk show che proietta sul cane Sam tutta la sua delusione nell'essere stata tradita dal proprio compagno e vive con insofferenza la presenza del co-conduttore Jimmy, campione di football americano e maschio alfa. Grace e Kurt adottano una bambina imperscrutabile che sembra aprirsi al loro affetto solo attraverso un carlino trovatello, la dolcissima Mabel. Ma Mabel appartiene ad un anziano vedovo il cui unico contatto con il mondo è Tyler, il ragazzo che gli consegna le pizze a domicilio e che cerca di aiutarlo a ritrovare la cagnolina scomparsa.
STORYLINE:
Los Angeles, California, is the main and heart-warming scenario where life and fate interconnect five different stories as well as their characters with their respective canine pets: Elizabeth is a famous newscaster of a morning TV show who after a disastrous interview with former basket player Jimmy, Elizabeth's boss decides to contract Jimmy as co-host due to the high ratings of the interview; in another side of the city, Tara is a waiter of a coffee shop that passes her days talking with her shallow and dog-walker friend Daisy. Tara, who is crazy about the friendly but full of himself vet Dr. Mike, one day meets Garrett, the eccentric and shy owner of an animal care center who is unable to say Tara that he loves her; Grace and Kurt are a marriage nervous by the arrival is their first adoptive child, Amelia, but they see that the child doesn't seems happy with her new home and her new parents; Dax is a teen in body of adult, leader of the aspiring rock band Frunk, who after a visit.
