Susan and Michael first appeared on Dr. Phil in 2012 to share their experience with their unforgettable daughter, Janni, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at just 6 years old.
As Dr. Phil predicted at the time, they’ve since divorced and are now at odds over their 11-year-old son Bodhi, who Susan is convinced is schizophrenic as well. She wrote a book detailing her experiences with her children and the divorce with Michael, and is documenting Bodhi’s struggles on YouTube. Michael believes that Bodhi is severely autistic and not schizophrenic, and thinks Susan’s quest for the diagnosis will harm their son.
