Summary:

De doorgewinterde infanterie-eenheden van het Duitse 11e Panzer “Ghost” Division namen zwijgzaam hun posities in op de met sneeuw bedekte heuvels bij Nennig, Duitsland. De vermoeide soldaten van het 94ste infanteriedivisie van het Amerikaanse leger stonden klaar om het stadje te verdedigen. Een positie die essentieel was voor de opmars van de geallieerde en het winnen van de oorlog. Onderofficier Sergeant Don Smith, kansloos en in de minderheid, heeft moeite om nog enige hoop en moed te vinden tegen deze overweldigende overmacht. Deze film gebaseerd op feitelijke gebeurtenissen beschrijft een van de van de doorslaggevende confrontaties in de slag om de Ardennen gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
