Summary:

Three strippers seeking thrills encounter a young couple in the desert. After dispatching the boyfriend, they take the girl hostage and begin scheming on a crippled old man living with his two sons in the desert, reputedly hiding a tidy sum of cash. They become house guests of the old man and try and seduce the sons in an attempt to locate the money, not realizing that the old man has a few sinister intentions of his own.

Note : The absolute culmination of the American 60s exploitation film is this, Russ Meyer's magnum opus, the Citizen Kane of sexploitation films, where his obsessive fetishism for huge tits, catfights, and fast cars meets a pretty good story with great dialogue, fun action, and outrageous performances. Tura Satana (amazingly, her real name) rules the roost, but Haji and Lori Willams aren't far behind. It's non-stop car racing, scheming, sleaze, and murder, with constant extreme cleavage and a sprinkling of go-go dancing and some male beefcake. This film is honestly a blast, but don't listen to me, listen to John Waters, who said "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is, beyond a doubt, the best movie ever made. It is possibly better than any film that will be made in the future." So there you have it.

A trio of deliquent go-go dancers race their cars through the California desert when they come across a young couple. Their leader, Varla, races the man, then gets in a fight with him and breaks his neck. They kidnap the young girl, and at a local gas station learn about a cripple living nearby who is rumored to have a large amount of cash hidden on his property. Intrigued, the girls go to investigate, and get invited to lunch at the ranch, where the girls get hot and heavy with the old man's two sons, one of whom is a intellectually challenged bodybuilder. Meanwhile, the shotgun-wielding old man himself is revealed to be a rapist and murderer, and his attempt to take advantage of the kidnapped teenager sets off a chain of events with an explosive ending.

This is a pretty good transfer, clean and sharp, with moderate grain and good contrast. A little flicker and heavier grain here and there, but generally image quality is good. Original stereo also sounds fine, and the two commentary tracks are well worth your time.
