Flashback is a refreshed version of the Delphine Software International platformer from 1992, which Ubisoft has revived for digital distribution. The French company entrusted the production of the remake to the small studio VectorCell.

The plot of the game takes us into the distant future, and its action takes place on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. Flashback's main hero is Conrad B. Hart - an agent of the Galactic Investigative Office - who accidentally discovers a conspiracy tied up by mysterious strangers trying to destroy life on earth. Just before the beginning of the adventure, the aliens kidnap our daredevil and erase all his memory, fortunately he manages to send the most important information about the case to a friend in New Washington. After a specific brainwashing, Hart breaks free at the hands of his tormentors - strangers do not know that the agent also secured himself and wrote down the basic knowledge about his discoveries in the holo- do.

Not only in the matter of the plot Flashback remains very faithful to its prototype, the authors have also recreated all the characteristic elements of the predecessor's game, such as the need to navigate the cunningly arranged platforms or simple logic puzzles. The fight system was the biggest change - in the remake, Hart can shoot in any direction, so he can beat enemies not only standing in front of him. The authors have also implemented a very fashionable character development system. During the game, we gain experience points, and after exceeding the appropriate threshold, we can improve Conrad in three different areas.

The game is characterized by a very nice visual frame - the graphic designers have prepared all the locations from scratch, keeping the sterile atmosphere of the original. Also prepared a series of cut-scenes on the basis of original cutscenes and a whole lot of dialogue parties in a situation where Hart communicates with independent characters.
