caused when an emu is set to offline mode(Legit game also has this
issue if steam is in offline mode). This fixed steamemu.ini should
solve the random crashes. You could also edit the org steamemu.ini
Offline1 to Offline0.

- Block the games exe in your firewall to prevent the game from
trying to go online ..
- If you install games to your systemdrive, it may be necessary
to run this game with admin privileges instead
