A parody of Nazism by the British Ministry of Information, a parody that met with immediate success, publicly mocking Hitler and boosting morale on the Home Front. The Nazis were so enraged by this derisive video that Goebbels, Reich Minister for Propaganda, ran out of the screening room kicking chairs and screaming profanities.

The film is particularly well thought out and successful, because it is placed in the discourse of the time. "Lambeth Walk", a new dance, was the fashion of the moment in the UK and in the USA in the late 1930s. The Nazi Party hierarchy, after the fashion spread to Berlin, publicly condemned Lambeth Walk, declaring it "Jewish mischief and animalistic hopping".

The video takes some scenes from The Triumph of the Will, a 1935 Nazi propaganda film, and re-releases them, comically making it seem that Nazi soldiers and Hitler are performing the Lambeth Walk dance. The short film was distributed free of charge to the companies that created newsreels for the Allies: it was the first viral mashup video in history, popularizing a language and a critical approach that we know well today.
