Glee loves Gaga. The Emmy Award-winning dramedy has already devoted any entire one-hour episode to the pop phenom, but Glee producers are so inspired by the success of Lady Gaga’s charttoping “Born This Way,” they’re hosting a 90-minute special in honor of it.


The episode, also titled “Born This Way,” will see the McKinley High glee club grappling with body image issues, TV Line squeals have learned. “Lauren (Ashley Fink) runs for prom queen, in so doing challenging the traditional notion of what a pageant princess looks like. Rachel (Lea Michele), meanwhile, considers getting a nose job,” the site writes.



The episode will, of course, include “a rousing performance” of the Gaga hit — the fourth song of hers to appear in the series, after cover versions of “Bad Romance,” “Poker Face,” and “Telephone” premiered on the show last year. While most of the episode has already been shot, producers are planning to film two extra musical numbers to pad out the running time. No word yet on whether those two songs will also be Gaga numbers.
