Homeland - Caccia alla spia (Homeland) è una serie televisiva statunitense prodotta dal 2011. Lo show è basato sulla serie israeliana Hatufim.

La serie ha per protagonisti Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), un'agente della CIA, e il Marine statunitense Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis). Carrie è convinta che Brody, a lungo detenuto da al-Qaida come prigioniero di guerra, faccia parte di una cellula dormiente e che sia un rischio significativo per la sicurezza nazionale.

Nicholas Brody, un sergente dei Marine ritenuto scomparso in azione nella guerra d'Iraq, viene liberato dopo otto anni di prigionia. Una volta ritornato a casa, l'intera nazione lo elegge immediatamente ad eroe di guerra. Carrie Mathison, un'analista della CIA, è l'unica a credere che in realtà egli rappresenti una seria minaccia per il Paese: identifica infatti in Brody uno sconosciuto prigioniero di guerra americano che ha saputo essersi convertito all'Islam ed essere passato al servizio di al-Qaida. Rendendosi conto delle difficoltà di provare la sua tesi e di convincere i suoi superiori a mettere sotto sorveglianza il sergente, Carrie inizia ad indagare segretamente sulla figura di Nicholas Brody, per prevenire un altro attacco terroristico sul suolo americano.
