Wells enjoyed a considerable R&B hit with the grinding ‘Little by Little,’ glides atop a churning rhythm groove on the original ‘Messin' With the Kid,’ rocks ‘Lovey Dovey Lovely One’ and the hokey-but-fun ‘I Need Me a Car,’ and blows some husky amplified harmonica on ‘Cha Cha Cha in Blue’ and ‘Calling All Blues.’ (AMG)
