Ova igrana mini-serija, urađena u četiri epizode,nastala je po elementima istinitih priča iz afere „Nestale bebe“. Ova afera otvorena je u Srbiji početkom ovog veka, a obuhvata period još od sedamdesetih godina dvadesetog veka. Radnja serije je smeštena u sadašnje vreme u kom bivši policajac, a sada privatni istražitelj Ljuba, na poziv jedne grupe roditelja nestalih beba pokušava da dođe do istine.
Ova socijalna drama govori o tome da istina nije jednostavna, ali da je država odavno morala da uradi mnogo više da pomogne roditeljima da dođu do istine, ma kakva ona bila. Kako navodi produkcija ovog ostvarenja, autori imaju kritički osvrt i na medije u Srbiji koji su ovu temu tretirali tabloidno, a cilj ovog projekta, pored kvalitetnog dramskog programa, jeste upravo taj: da se ovoj teškoj temi pristupi na drugačiji način i da se zaustavi njena dalja tabloidizacija, izazivanjem gotovo svakodnevnih senzacija.
