Back in the game, Karl quickly learns that his friends are imprisoned and the evil assassin and nemesis Kevin now occupies the throne in a kingdom far from united. Graft and corruption permeate the land, and highwaymen roam at will. Having already experienced Kevin’s treachery, Karl conceals his return until he can liberate his team, soon discovering there is a traitor among them.
His problems are further compounded, for the wicked sorceress Eleris has the magic-enhancing Delf Stone, and if Karl intends to conquer Innis Torr and regain his kingdom, he must first steal the Delf Stone.
