TRAMA:
Dopo quindici anni di matrimonio, Valeria e Nicola hanno deciso di divorziare in maniera civile. L'amore finisce, non è una tragedia ed è meglio fermarsi in tempo prima di diventare due amici che si fanno compagnia la sera davanti alla televisione. Sono d'accordo su tutto, alimenti, case, affidamento congiunto dei figli. Proprio quando si sono decisi a dare la notizia ai loro tre ragazzi, capita ad entrambi l'opportunità di partire all'estero per l'occasione lavorativa della vita. Valeria, da brava compagna e amica, è subito pronta a farsi indietro, ma quando scopre che Nicola ha una tresca con un'infermiera giovane e carina, non è più disposta a sacrificarsi, anzi, accetta al volo il suo nuovo incarico. A chi andrà la custodia dei figli nei sette mesi durante i quali entrambi i genitori hanno deciso di accettare le rispettive proposte di lavoro all'estero? Se i due non sono in grado di stabilirlo, saranno i bambini a scegliere se stare con mamma o con papà! La guerra tra Nicola e Valeria è dichiarata e la posta in gioco è esattamente opposta a quella delle normali famiglie in fase di divorzio: lottare per non ottenere l'affidamento dei figli e fare di tutto perché questi scelgano l'altro genitore.
