Summary:

Duff Daniels (John T. Woods), the younger, stupider brother of Les (Michael Shanks), can't help himself from stealing a rare snake that's been kept in a jar by a Native American snake dealer (Ben Cardinal), and which has to follow some rules: don't let it out of the jar, then don't let it eat anything anything living, and never fear the heart of the snake.

Depuis que son père est décédé, victime d'une morsure de serpent, Les Daniels a une terrible phobie des reptiles. Son frère Duff est, au contraire, passionné par ces animaux et conserve, dans une jarre, un Unteka, une espèce extrêmement rare et terriblement dangereuse. Lorsque la jarre se brise accidentellement, la taille du reptile triple en quelques minutes. Bientôt, la panique se répand dans toute la ville : le serpent, devenu monstrueux, dévore toute forme vivante sur son passage...
