Mike Oldfield-Incantations (double LP on one CD) EAC FLAC

After getting what early fans call the trilogy (Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, & Ommadawn), you have (what was then) a double album of instrumental music. This one, more expanded in its themes, repetions, motifs, etc., seems more planned, less shifting in segments. Also, around this time, Mike is now more ready to tackle a tour, and after its recording, mounted a tour with a 50+ ensemble, playing both this work, and his first Tubular Bells, later released as Exposed. Added extras include some shorter tracks and some bits and pieces from the recording studio time. Unfortunetly the full set is not available for a 5.1 remix, but you do get some of these done in 5.1, which allow you some insight into what might have been. Plus you get some videos of it, and one of the shorter pieces. Supervised by Mike himself, you can get what would be the best from this particular era. If you are a Mike Oldfield fan, this album comes as a welcome edition.
