a few spoken exchanges in Ukrainian or German do occur plus a bit of Hebrew/Yiddish however they
weren't too many - and I have to say we aren't able to find subtitles for this movie as of yet at this time of

For some strange retarded reason, itunes only makes this available to its British audience and not to those
subscribing to their Cdn or US sites respectively as we do here. We'll soon be setup to buy from itunes
around the world as the need arises. They are better than amazon at allowing such access when
basic logistical requirements are met by relative comparison.
This movie is set in the Ukraine where you will find the most dear people (same as Russia I found - even better
personally in what have been my experiences as its mainly Ukrainians in significant numbers that are to be found
in Canada too - but not too many Russians as yet. My former District manager at the Radio Shack electronics chain
where I was store manager starting when I was not yet 19 was the greatest leader of heart warmth and human decency
and good nature and ranked with the best Irish boss Brendan Hughes I had at Computerland where I was Sales Manager
back around 1984
So I'm sorry to say I don't like any attempts to unjustly or even unfairly tarnish their good name as a peoples
as this movie seems to do by showing too much violence against family members of this Ukrainian village
at the hands of vigilantes from the area, the man depicted to be a Ukrainian farmer in the starring role, and it
is horrible to see the atrocities by the invading occupying forces from German squads who had no business
being there I should say, indeed, if mindless carnage was all that was to be the outcome. One of those men lying
there could well have been the equivalent of Mark Sachkiw the District manager I refer to - who has such greatest
competence - I'd prefer his humanity anyday over the mindless killers shown in the scene in the included image.
No rhyme or reason to how they picked their victims so senseless is all anyone could call it. Barbaric even.
