It's sexy without being scandalous (“I’ll never get over not getting under you", he winks on the R&B-leaning “Under You”,) and meditative but not mopey (he toyed with naming the album after the heartbreaking ballad "Unhinged" before going with something a little less woeful). And with help from Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), his signature, smart pop sound remains perfectly intact, even if Jonas himself is on the mend.
