It is very important to know which user has access to which folders and drives on a computer. NTFS Permissions Reporter is available for download for this very purpose. According to the developers, this software is considered one of the fastest user permissions reporting tools on the market. Various Windows tools are capable of determining user and group rights to directories. This includes Explorer, which displays existing permissions in the context menu of a directory or file.
