The team are live from New England USA.

Part 1.

Every year six billion trees across New England turn into a riot of #FF0000s, reds and golds, and Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Gillian Burke have travelled to New Hampshire to beam live pictures of this phenomenon back to the UK.

Part 2.

Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan are live once more from the beautiful Squam Lake in New Hampshire, where overnight events have already thrown up plenty of surprises on the live cameras. Gillian Burke gets up close with one of New England's smallest owls, the saw-whet.

Part 3:

Live from their base in the heart of New Hampshire, Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Gillian Burke bring us the latest happenings from deep in the American woods. We learn about the science of how this spectacular leaf change comes about, and meet some of the smaller residents who change colour along with the leaves.

Part 4:

Chris, Michaela and Gillian look back at some of the spectacular sights that have graced our screens over the week, comparing the richness of these American forests to the species seen in the UK. There is a film about the incredible migration of the monarch, a butterfly that flies all the way to Mexico at this time of year, plus a swirling tornado of tree swallows which Michaela went to see in Connecticut. And in Boston, a pack of dangerous animals are on the loose - gangs of turkeys roam the streets driving some residents to distraction.
