What a Delight To Obay God, Psalm 112:
"Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments!"
Psalm 112 is God’s primer for blessed living. Whether you are employed or unemployed; blue collar, white collar or no collar; a PhD or self-taught – Psalm 112 guarantees that life with God is always better than life without God.
Psalm 112’s opening instruction is to “Praise the Lord.” The person who will enjoy the blessings of God is quick to exalt Him. The “man” in this psalm is representative of the larger group of persons, i.e. mankind, and is inclusive of both male and female.
Psalm 112 reveals the spiritual keys to a blessed life. ... The blessed person takes “great delight” in obeying God's commandments (Solomon's Success Story). To be “Blessed” by God is to receive His favor. The blessed person “fears the Lord” which means to reverence and respect Him (The Key to God’s Blessings).
Get right with God through salvation in Jesus Christ and the rest of your life will fall into place.
The blessed person takes “great delight” in obeying God’s commandments (Solomon’s Success Story). “Delight” in the Hebrew conveys the word picture of reaching toward God, i.e. to be inclined toward God in all of life. Choosing to obey God is an informed and willful choice, not a religious task.
Praising God, reverencing Him, and obeying His commandments will open the door to these eight blessings revealed in verses 2-9:
#1 – “His children will be mighty in the land…” (Verse 2). Your God-honoring legacy will manifest in future generations of natural and spiritual offspring.
#2 – “Wealth and riches are in his house…” (Verse 3). You will have enough. You will enjoy abundance and sufficiency.
#3 – “Even in darkness light dawns for the upright…” (Verse 4). Light is a metaphor for wisdom and provision in times of uncertainty. God’s “light” will illuminate your path.
#4 – “Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely…” (Verse 5). You will be blessed with resources which will allow you to freely give to others (The Generous Worker).
#5 – “Surely he will never be shaken…” (Verse 6). You will not be separated from God or fall into spiritual decay.
#6 – “He will have no fear of bad news…” (Verse 7). No one is immune to “bad news.” Believers can suffer just like everyone else. But, God will deliver you from “fear” when confronted with the world’s trials (God and Your Workplace Trials).
#7 – “His heart is secure…” (Verse 8). Your “heart,” the seat of your feelings and emotions, will be steady independent of circumstances.
#8 – “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor…” (Verse 9). Your life will be significant and productive. Its impact will spread beyond your immediate circle of co-workers, friends, and family.
Psalm 112 closes by contrasting the believer’s life described in verses 1-9 with those who choose a life without God.
Verse 10 says “The wicked man will see and be vexed ….” Others will “see” your blessed, Christian lifestyle and be drawn to its message and values.
Application: Your blessed life glorifies God and is a witness to others.

If you believe in The Rapture you better believe The Above Statement and that the Sacrificed Blood of Jesus, on the Cross paid for your sins and there is NOTHING Else you can do to gain Salvation, The GRACE of Christ did it ALL. Now you just have to believe that with all your Heart, Mind and Soul or Maybe Get Left Behind. All PAST, Present and Future Sins are Forgiven with Jesus. (I wouldn't PUSH That Future sin statement to much!!!)

"And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
"Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in The Air, and there we will be forever be with him...hmmm sounds like some of us might be Immortal. (Ask your preacher about that)
