PowerISO è un'utility che lavora con i file immagine dei CD/DVD. È capace di aprirli, modificarli, crearli da zero ed eventualmente montarli su un lettore virtuale
PowerISO è un completo programma di gestione delle immagini di un disco ottico, ovvero dei file che contengono l'intero contenuto di un CD o DVD. Esistono vari formati di questo tipo e PowerISO è in grado di leggere quasi tutti, compresi i file .dmg usati su Mac. Quando si tratta di creare un'immagine da zero, il programma può invece salvare solo nei formati ISO, BIN e DAA.
Oltre alle funzioni base di lettura e scrittura, PowerISO può essere usato per modificare immagini già esistenti, estrarne parte dei contenuti, proteggerle con password e altro ancora. E visto che le immagini solitamente occupano molto spazio, PowerISO può anche essere utilizzato per comprimerle o suddividerle in file più piccoli.
PowerISO è utile quando viene il momento di usare le immagini. Include una semplice utility di masterizzazione e soprattutto è in grado di creare lettori virtuali, su cui montare le immagini senza il bisogno di copiarle su un CD o DVD fisico. Una funzione comoda e veloce, grazie a cui risparmiare tempo e denaro.
NOTA: in fase di installazione vi chiede di installare dei programmi a parte, togliete la spunta, non ci interessano.

PowerISO is a complete image management program, an optical disc, or the files that contain the entire contents of a CD or DVD. There are various sizes of this kind and PowerISO is able to read almost everyone, including the .dmg files used on a Mac. When it comes to creating an image from scratch, the program can instead save only in ISO, BIN, and DAA.
Besides the basic functions of reading and writing, PowerISO can be used to edit existing images, extract of the content, protect them with passwords and more. And because images usually take up much space, PowerISO can also be used to compress them or break them down into smaller files.
PowerISO is useful when it comes time to use the images. It includes a simple utility to burn and above is able to create virtual drives, on which to mount images without the need to copy them to a CD or physical DVDs. A function convenient and fast, thanks to which saves time and money.
NOTE: during installation asks you to install separate programs, uncheck, they do not care.
