il film diretto da Damián Romay, segue la storia di una giovane ragazza in dolce attesa che lotta per assicurare un futuro al bimbo che porta in grembo. Quando Tracy (Hannah Bamberg) resta incinta di Bobby (Daniel Contois), il suo fidanzato violento e aggressivo, è perfettamente consapevole che il padre del suo bambino non potrebbe mai prendersi cura di loro. Senza un soldo e spaventata all'idea di crescerlo da sola, decide allora di scappare di casa, completare la gravidanza e, dopo il parto, dare il piccolino in affidamento. Si rivolge dunque a un'agenzia specializzata in adozioni, che in breve tempo trova i candidati perfetti: i Parker, una coppia benestante e dai modi apparentemente gentili.
