Sherrie, een meisje uit een klein dorpje, besluit naar West Hollywood te verhuizen. Daar ontmoet ze Drew, een barmedewerker in de club Rock of Ages aan de befaamde Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Ze worden verliefd en krijgen een relatie met elkaar. Hun baas Dennis Dupree probeert zijn club te redden. Storyline
