Romanzo Criminale Season 2 Genuine Blu-ray 1080p HEVC AC3 5.1 Subs (EN ES IT NL)

My Blu-Ray rips are always taken DIRECTLY from the actual blu-rays, not re-encodings of an earlier h264 torrent, and not "filled in" with web downloads. HEVC is a superb machine, but it should be given quality raw materials.


This is the second and final season of Romanzo Criminale La Serie, the TV show based on the earlier movie of the same name.

I used x265 to create an h265 (HEVC) 10 bit LE 2 pass high quality 1080p video in 2 passes, at an average of  1200-1500kbps and peak of 2800kbps.

I had to increase the bandwidth for some of the episodes, especially ones with many darker scenes.

Please note that the blu-ray of this 2010 TV show is a little grainy in places, as with many older blu-rays from that era. I did not try to smooth out that grain. The worst scene is the opening of episode 5, in the ministry store room.

The English, Italiano, Dutch and Español subtitles are included (soft coded).

I included some of the music of the era, featured in the show.

Finally, in the misc folder are two curiosities for fans:-

A short clip from Titanic Blood and Steel, a 2012 miniseries set in Belfast amidst the construction of the famous liner. Some Italian immigrants are heavily featured (I think it was an Italian co-production) and here we see Roberta and Nembo Kid, speaking English, in 1912!

An episode of "La Banca Della Magliana" which appeared in "Un Due Tre Stella" which seems to be a sort of SNL show. This parody of the gang's name, sees some original actors playing their roles, but as gangster bankers; at least, that's what I think is happening. In this episode, we see Bufalo as a personal banker, and he seems to act as one would expect!
