After the death of her alcoholic father, a radio psychologist Dr. Sonny Blake (McGowan)
returned to the town where she grew up. Once settled in his old home, she discovers
that the local paper boy is frightening and cunning young sociopath who until recently was harassing her father,
and now has taken her to his geraniums. When the boy began to show and call in and recite
crazy infantile rhymes, among them began playing cat and mouse. Soon the game escalates and
