Three competing homeowners in Wolverhampton snoop around each other’s houses looking for inspiration on how to improve their own. Armed with what they’ve learned and expert advice from Amanda Lamb, they get a week and £1000 to make changes before buyer Gareth comes to view. Peter and Janine have to bring their dilapidated kitchen and falling-down bathroom up to scratch. Gosha and Peter must tastefully update their living room and reclaim their master bedroom. And Ian and Michael bring a taste of the 1930s back to their bland hallway and featureless living room.
