Antonio Margheriti, director of the enjoyably cheesy cult horror Cannibal Apocalypse, helms this Gothic-flavoured giallo starring gap-toothed 70s icon Jane Birkin (as well as her massive-conked French lover of the day, Serge Gainsbourg).
International sex symbol Jane Birkin (of Blow-Up and "Je t'aime..." fame) stars as Corringa, a beautiful young girl who returns from a convent school to her family's ancestral castle.
But within these walls seethes unspeakable evil, including religious fervor, depraved desires, and sudden, sadistic murder. Now, someone with a taste for terror is slaughtering the castle's demented guests. Six have already met their deaths...and for delicious Corringa, the ultimate torment is still to come!

Nel castello di Dragstone, appartenente a Lady Mary MacGrieff e a suo figlio James e del quale sono già ospiti: un medico, Franz, amante segreto della proprietaria; un sacerdote cattolico, il reverendissimo Robertson; una insegnante di francese, Susanne; e una sorella di Mary, Lady Alicia, giunge espulsa dal collegio, la giovane figlia di costei, Corringa.
