Stereo MC's - Connected (1992)@flac

Stereo MC’s Connected is one of those albums that's almost impossible not to like, especially since it featured four terrific top 20 UK singles: the title track, "Creation," "Ground Level," and "Step It Up."
The music here is accessible, irresistible, and unpretentious. It's essentially a cool and funky mix of dance music, hip-hop, electronica, and rap. "Connected" is unquestionably the biggest of the four hit singles, and the song would later appear in the 1995 film, Hackers, starring Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller. The energetic tune is simple but catchy and effective with a rich groove and a nice fresh vibe, which is fairly representative of all the tracks on the LP.
This is arguably their finest hour, but there are those that prefer their earlier record, Supernatural over this one. (AMG)
