Plot: Wanneer een ruimteschip in Gotham City Harbor terecht komt, staan Batman en Superman oog in oog met een mysterieuze Kryptoniaanse met krachten zo groot als die van de Man van Staal. De Kryptoniaanse zal worden onthuld als Kara, de nicht van Superman, die haar onder zijn vleugels neemt om haar te leren over de aarde. Echter, de vileine Darkseid heeft andere plannen. Darkseid ziet in Kara een kans om eindelijk Superman te verslaan. Hij ontvoert en gebruikt de krachtige Kryptoniaanse om zijn bevelen uit te voeren. Het is aan Batman en Superman om Karate redden, maar zullen daarvoor de strijd aan moeten gaan binnen zijn vijandige wereld van Darkseid- waar achter elke hoek onbekende en dodelijke gevaren loeren.
