Behind the picturesque scenery is the drama that comes with any capital city – and at the centre of all the action is the Darwin police force, the heart and soul of Territory Cops.
Located on the colourful Mitchell Street strip and arguably the busiest of all the stations in the Northern Territory, the Darwin team on any given day can tackle anything from assault to homicide, theft, missing people, crocodile attacks, drug trafficking and organised crime.
Each episode focuses on three major storylines, using the latest in camera technology to follow the hard-working police as they face head-on the vast array of incidents that can occur at any time of the day or night.

Love Struck Thief
Senior Sergeant Andrew Heath and Senior Constable Tammy Watson are casting a keen eye over Mitchell St in their weekend City Safe Patrol. They are soon called to the aid of a young damsel in distress who suspects her persistent ex-boyfriend has stolen both her phone and handbag. A Hot Pursuit Turns Personal
Sergeant Amee Meredith and Constable Doug Roberts play a game of cat and mouse as they pursue a dangerously drunk driver who is speeding through the suburbs at night without any headlights. When they finally bring the driver to a standstill, things get personal as the man begins to make a series of bizarre drunken comments about Amee’s mum.
Prison Pot Bust
Constables Sean Holmes aka ‘Wombat’ and Terry Fowler aka ‘Chook’ are called to Darwin prison to check out the case of a possible drug smuggler who has been caught redhanded bringing a bag of cannabis and a bong into the prison car park. The culprit tries to talk his way out of serious charges but Wombat and Chook conduct a thorough investigation.
