The Best And Most Expensive Fonts
Description: What sets this one apart from every other font pack you've seen, is that these fonts are absolutely the cream of the crop. Most of these retail at a couple of hundred bucks a piece, which probably puts this whole collection well over the $50,000 mark. This is -- by far -- the most expensive pirated "software" I have in my posession.
The most expensive ones are scene releases by the font group TYPO, while the folder 'Font.Flood-Mixed.Fonts-all.the.world' has 1,276 individual fonts, all neatly separated in categories. Some of the scene releases also include original, retail PDF manuals and interesting goodies.
1. Besides, the majority of the fonts that are not scene releases are included in the "Font.Flood-Mixed.Fonts-all.the.world" directory. That's 1,276 TTF fonts, unpacked and ready to install. However, if you feel the need to install the other 346 font families released by the group TYPO, you'll have to decompress them, which brings me to my second point.
2. Besides, decompressing all the fonts is very simple. Perform a regular Windows search for *.zip files in the parent directory. 349 ZIP files will pop up and then it's simply a matter of selecting them all (CTRL+A), right-clicking and selecting "Extract files..." (if you use WinRAR, which you should, but any other program works). Then point it to a directory of your choice and watch them fill the folder with thousands of files. If there are other archives in there (RAR, IIRC), then simply repeat the process for those files too. In a matter of minutes, you'll have them all sorted in a single folder. This is the simplest of tasks any respectable computer user should already know, instead of attacking the scene for ridiculous formats or even me, for uploading it this way.
3. Besides, it would be morronic to install every single font here. This collection is for designers and artists who already know what they're looking for, which makes it only a matter of searching for that single font family and unpacking it. However, if you want to preview them then I can understand the need to have them unpacked, which is why you should read my point above.
