The Hand, central episode of the film "Eros" is written and directed by Wong Kar-Wai. Inspired by the difficulty of having physical contact between people during the SARS epidemic in 2003, the director approaches the theme of eroticism starting with one of the senses, touch. The hand of the title subject is that of high-class prostitute of the fascinating interpreted Gong Li, who began the sexual pleasure of a young and skillful tailor who sews for her, with his own hands, the beautiful clothes, a symbol of the feelings of 'unexpressed love for the proof that the young woman. Set in Shanghai in the early '60s, as part of In The Mood For Love and 2046, this short film is heavily influenced by the atmosphere of the latter two films.

La Mano, episodio centrale del film "Eros" è scritto e diretto da Wong Kar-Wai. Ispirato dalla difficoltà di avere contatti fisici tra le persone durante l’epidemia della SARS nel 2003, il regista si avvicina al tema dell’erotismo partendo da uno dei sensi, il tatto. La mano oggetto del titolo è quella della prostituta d’alto bordo interpretata dall’affascinante Gong Li, che inizia al piacere della sessualità un giovane ed abile sarto, che cuce per lei, con le proprie mani, degli splendidi abiti, simbolo dei sentimenti d’amore inespressi che il giovane prova per la donna. Ambientato nella Shangai dei inizi anni ’60, come parte di In The Mood For Love e di 2046, questo cortometraggio risente pesantemente delle atmosfere di questi due ultimi film.
