18. I Robot - July 23, 1995
After a robot kills its creator, do you put it in the scrapheap -
or put it on trial? Dr. Charles Link has been murdered, and the
prime suspect is a "synthetic human" called Adam. Because he "has
been [like] a brother" to the scientist's daughter, she contacts
lawyer Thurman Cutler to save him from being disassembled. Cutler's
strategy hinges on proving Adam's humanity and earning him a trial.
During the investigation, evidence comes to light that could ruin
