TRAMA
Un aereo atterra al John F. Kennedy International Airport con le luci spente e le porte sigillate. L'epidemiologo Ephraim Goodweather e la sua squadra vengono chiamati a investigare. A bordo dell'aereo trovano centinaia di morti e solo quattro sopravvissuti. La situazione peggiora quando i corpi cominciano a scomparire dagli obitori. Goodweather e un piccolo gruppo di volontari si ritrova a combattere per proteggere non solo i loro cari, ma la città intera, da un antico male che minaccia l'umanità.
