Their third album, following a very busy period. They recorded a 10-track album with Graham Sutton (Jarvis Cocker, British Sea Power) and Bernard Butler (Duffy, Black Kids), and filmed video accompaniments to their music with Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds).
Sun Gangs is described by Finn Andrews as a very modern mixture of prayers, love letters and personal record keeping. Finn continued by saying: I really wanted to write something that hangs together in perhaps a not so obvious way; not just some collection of singles but a real voyage into something, something strange and unspecific but totally emotionally consuming. It’s also kinda just a break-up record in many ways.
