Description

Upstairs Downstairs 1979 spinoff. This lovely series  follows Sarah (parlour-maid) and Thomas (chauffeur) some time after leaving service with the Bellamys.
Each 1 hour episode is a great pleasure to watch, with such two outstanding actors in Pauline Collins and John Alderton, what could possibly go wrong.  The episode in the Welsh village was quite excellent. and in a typically English manner the ending of the series is left open to the viewer to interpret.
The series captures Edwardian England in a way that only the English seem to manage with accuracy and sympathy.
