This has not been released on Bluray or WEB-DL. This was created from the 1080i PAL letterboxed release (presumably a recording someone did of MGM HD). I deinterlaced it with QTGMC and changed the framerate from PAL (25FPS) to Film (23.976FPS) (via VEAI's .png output and ImageSource in Avisynth). After listening to both version's audio, the voices in the PAL version sounded too high (typical for a PAL release). I resampled the audio to change the length for 23.976FPS, which means this will sound slightly lower pitch than the PAL release, and is also likely the proper pitch. The original release had about 720p equivalent resolution. I was able to successfully raise that to 1040p with Topaz Video Enhance AI v1.61 (Gaia-CG model at 200%). All processing was done in a lossless fashion.
I added and updated English subtitles from subscene.com.
Software used: Virtualdub2, DGDecodeNV, Lagarith, FLAC, Avisynth, QTGMC, Audition, Video Enhance AI 1.6.1, Irfanview, x264, SubtitleEdit, MkvMerge, MkvExtract. All software was 32bit except for VEAI.
