Venus Wars (Venus senki, 'Cronache delle guerre di Venere') è un manga di Yoshikazu Yasuhiko pubblicato dalla Gakken dal settembre 1986 all'aprile 1990 sulla rivista Comic Nora, e raccolto poi in quattro tankobon. Nel 1989 lo stesso Yasuhiko scrisse e diresse un anime film basato sulla prima parte del fumetto. Il film è stato pubblicato dalla Yamato Video con il titolo Venus Wars dapprima in VHS, e poi, nel 2009, in DVD e nel 2011 in Bluray.
Trama
Pianeta Venere, anno 2089 dell’era terrestre, anno 72 secondo il nuovo calendario del pianeta, inaugurato quando i primi coloni terrestri vi si sono trasferiti in seguito a un mutamento delle condizioni ambientali tale da rendere possibile la vita umana. Venere è diviso in due grandi nazioni, Aphrodia e Ishtal, che sono entrate in conflitto. L’esercito della prima, per contrastare le forze di invasione nemiche, decide di contrapporre ai micidiali e massicci tank di Ishtal le più leggere e manovrabili motociclette. Per guidare questi mezzi vengono reclutati i partecipanti al Rolling Game, e in particolare Hiroki Senoo, della squadra dei Killer Commandos...
Note Tecniche:
Il video proviene dal Bluray Italiano su quale ho effettuato l'encoding con x264. L'audio italiano proviene dal medesimo Bluray che contiene il DTS HD Master Audio, da cui ho estratto il core per contenere un poco le dimensioni finali.
