Description: A wildlife officer, who is haunted by a tragedy that happened because of him, teams up with an FBI agent in solving a murder of a young woman on a Wyoming Native American reservation and hopes to get redemption from his past regrets.

Encoder Note: Total encoding time was 9h 25m on an i9-12900k. I used an intensive Mode 3 preset on SVT-AV1, which tripled the encoding time - to improve the video quality by 0.5%. CRF 14 was selected for the highest possible SDR quality. I tried to blow up the file size, but couldn't get it over 3.5GB, no matter how hard I tried. This is equivalent to a 7GB encode x264, which is overkill for a movie 1h 47m in length. The Bluray source is a 7/10 for video quality, which is "good" but not "excellent". Any imperfections are from the studio - not the encoder. One of my fans asked me to encode this movie. It was a good one, so I said yes. The bitrate of the video stream is 4,200kbps, which is ridiculously high for 1080p on AV1. This is equivalent to 8,400kbps on x264. Dual audio (English plus German) is included. 91% of the file size is the video stream.









UserHEVC encodes AV1 movies. Razor high video quality. Reasonable file size.


UserHEVC recommends a 6.36GB video stream on x264, to match 3.18GB video quality on AV1.
