Il film ha luogo in un'America post-apocalittica, due mesi dopo l'invasione di zombie causata da carne di mucca infetta.

dolci Twinkie. Decidono di viaggiare insieme e quando si fermano in un negozio, incontrano due giovani sorelle, Wichita e Little Rock. Le sorelle li ingannano e prendono le loro armi e la loro macchina. Così i
due protagonisti si incamminano, e presto trovano un Hummer H2 con tanto di armi. Sulla strada ritrovano le due sorelle, che nuovamente tentano di rubare il loro veicolo, dato che la macchina si è rotta.
Columbus propone una tregua e di continuare il viaggio insieme.
