Version 2.2.1 of utorrent is considered by many as one of the better versions of utorrent.
To use this download as a no-install app (no installation required) that can be placed on
a flash or portable drive, simply keep it in its folder and run it with its settings.dat
file.
If you wish to install it on your windows system, remove it from its folder and place it
on your desktop. Run the app and install it.
Ensure that you prevent utorrent from checking for updates in its options.
I classify this app as no-install instead of a portable version, as I believe it writes to
the registry. It is not strictly portable.
